You know how at the end of the ceremony, the groomsmen walk the bridesmaids out of the church...well, when Mr. Adam (a friend that both Holly and I went to college with) walked me out of the church, Joshua had his eye on him the entire time: it wasn't a kind looking eye either! :) He was just looking out for his Mommy, evil eye and all! You should have seen it, it actually made Adam feel awkward.... Joshua was walking out of the church in front of us, and because it is the custom to hold on to the groomsman's arm (and that is what Holly wanted that's what we (bridesmaids) did).  Joshua kept looking back at Adam and I with a concerned look "why is this strange guy walking with my Mommy?" he had his eye on Adam the entire time!! I'm so glad for my little body guard...I know that one day, he will be a very good body guard! (that day when he is a big boy is coming faster than I like :(!) Love you, Joshua!!!

It was so nice to see our cousin, Cassandra again! We had fun catching up while we were getting our nails done and through all the different wedding things we did!!!

GreenView Aviaries

A couple of summers ago, my parents found this amazing little zoo about 45 min from thier house! GreenView Aviaries has a zoo, a minature village, a huge and amazing playground (a couple of them), a splash pad (which we didn't end up using), an icecream shop, and a burger restaurant.  It was a really great time...we should have went earlier to be able to enjoy it more, but that just means we will all have to go again (with everyone next time)!!!  Enjoy some picutres from our fun time at the "Zooz" - as Joshua calls it ;)

The mother duck was sitting on all these babies...it surprised us when she got up and we saw ALL these babies!

Matthew was so excited about this gorilla...he started making monkey sounds and swaying back and forth when he saw it :)

Joshua feeding a baboon through the pipe...it was sitting at the other end of the pipe with his hand on the pipe to catch the food.  Too funny :)

Those poor ducks...EVERY duck that Matthew saw, he chased! If we didn't watch him, he would have been long gone chasing after all the "duck ducks!!" (Matthew)

This camel was catching crackers as Nathan was tossing it to him :) Talented!!!

Matthew didn't miss pointing out even one duck!  This duck was all over the park...you were supposed to follow it around the park :) so, he pointed out MANY ducks!

Remember in a previous post how I said that Matthew has NO FEAR.....
this slide was huge! and yes, he LOVED it!!!

After a very fun day at the "zooz" we went out to Godfather pizza for dinner! The perfect way to finish off a good day...pizza!!!!!!

As we have celebrated our countries 'birthday',

let's not forget the GREAT need

to proclaim the name of Christ around this beautiful nation! 

Sorry, Canada Day was on a Sunday, so I didn't get the time to take a picture of our Canada Day outfits....

we did wear our red and white!!!  Thus, the picture I chose :) we enjoyed this YUMMY dessert on Monday since Nathan was off for the holiday!  It doesn't really have a name other than YUMMY because I made it up!  It had chocolate cake, chocolate pudding, whip cream (real), and strawberries! It was the perfect Canada Day dessert (colors and all)!!!
