Boys

I finally have been able to get some good pictures of our boys! Here are a few that I took a couple of days ago...I am really happy with them. I still want to do some editing to a couple of them and then I am going to print them! I can't wait! Joshua is 2 years old and Matthew is just about 5 months old (on the 5th).

ba ba ba ba

Yesterday, Matthew woke me up saying, or should I say YELLING "Ba ba ba ba ba!" When he talks he doesn't use an inside voice ;) he likes to be loud, very loud!
I actually did get a couple of pictures of Matthew while he was smiling, but they were blurry :( I'll have to try again...
Matthew sat up for the first time yesterday...well, I had to sit him there, but he stayed there!! He's getting so big! Time flies...

Yes, he is ALL boy like his big brother! He loved having this football with him in his pictures...you should see him trying to get a hold of Joshua's big green ball (its 2' tall and around!)

Matthew is 4 1/2 months old already and trying to keep up with his big brother! Who, may I add was in a hilarious mood last night! He made Nathan and I laugh all night! Where he got some of the things he was doing, I'll never know...he's a boy ;)

Like Mommy like son!

Joshua, our big boy! On Saturday, I was asking Nathan if he would like a cup of coffee and Joshua heard...he then asked, "Mommy, my have coffee too?" I had to laugh, then told him, no, you can't have some buddy! A few minutes later, Joshua saw me putting the coffee from the container into my coffee canister. He asked, "What doin Mommy?" So I told him and then he asked, "Mommy, my have coffee too please! My like coffee, mmm, nummy!!" It was priceless! At first I just stood there because he has never said so many words at one time! Then I started laughing at him, so he started laughing too! It was so cute! What can I say...he knows what he likes :) and coffee happens to be one of those things, just like me! ;)

I attempted a photo shoot of our boys... these are the best ones that I could get of Joshua. He did a really good job, but I couldn't find our tripod right away, so.... using a portrait lense was a bit diffecult to get him to look at me, smile and then take the picture without moving ;P
I wanted Joshua to hold something in the pictures and since he was playing with his football, and it is "so him," I figured that it was the best prop for him to use! He also wanted Matthew to use his football for pictures later on too!
When I found our tripod, Joshua decided that he needed to use it to take pictures like Mommy! He went around the house all the rest of the day saying, "Look Mommy, cheese, smile Mommy!" Can you tell he heard that line a few times that day! :) He's so funny!

Fort Myers, FL - Our mini vacation/Adam and Casie's wedding! *Part 2*

We went to the Seashell Factory! It was really neat they had a bunch of different things set up! They had...

a safari area...

Joshua was thrilled to see all the animals, but still a little nervous. Probably because they weren't moving, just looking at him :)

Joshua and Uncle Adam checking out the train!

All anyone needs to have to be a friend of Joshua's are these :)

Casie, I wanted to show you this before you got married... but now you already know this is what he looks like when he wakes up ;)

This car was on display...but it had notes all over it telling us that it was very monitored...so don't even breath on it! HAHA!

Joshua jumped right up on this motorcycle! He is loving motorcycles right now! It was just his size! "Mommy see motorbike, please!"

Even seen 'Dr. Dolittle'? Its a "push-me pull-me"!!

"Roars!"

Kodiak! Just a little guy :)

I don't think Matthew was really getting into all the big stuffed animals like us.

Mum Marks, I was thinking of your living room when I took these next few pictures ;)

...a Christmas section...

I thought I got pictures of it, but for some reason they had a bunch of Christmas trees setup upside down and decorated...I thought maybe they just aren't sure how they are setup in Florida since its not really a Christmasy place ;) lol!

I really liked this tree (Joshua did too), a John Deer tree!

This is what I envisioned for Christmas trees in Florida...lol!

Matthew do really well through all the heat! He was a bit more excited about all the lights in the Christmas section than all the stuffed animals ;)

at first Joshua didn't want to sit in the train but when we walked past it again he really wanted to!

Yep, I was right...they are very confused about Christmas here in Florida!! A zebra pulling Santa's sleigh?!?!?! Hahaha!

Gator!! That baby was only $400!

The Seashells....Matthew really liked these :) Me too!!!!!

Look at them all! They are so pretty!

Purple coral!

I forget what this is called but it was really neat. It was like a big bowl but very pretty on the inside! It looked very brittle so I didn`t want to touch it ;) ...you break it you buy it!..yeah not a good thing when I am traveling on an airplane!

HUGE seashells

to finish off our visit to the Seashell factory...a race car!!
