We 3 Raverts LOVE the SNOW!!!!!!!

We have finally been getting some snow!! Nathan and I laughed when we saw the weather network (Internet weather station) heading yesterday. It read "Vancouver Bracing for First Snow!" hahahahahahahaha!!!! It was hilarious! We thought, we are bracing?....we are still bracing?...we are STILL bracing? Where is the snow????? It had snowed (just a tiny bit) on Friday and then some more yesterday (Sunday), but not enough to even cover the grass. And the weather heading was "Vancouver Bracing for First Snow!" to funny!!
Well, tonight we are actually getting some snow!!!!!!!!! Nathan HAD to go out and "test" the Explorer to make sure the anti lock breaks and the 4 wheel drive was working. Test???? :D
Tonight we had to run out to Wal-mart to pick up a few things and everyone was driving sooooo slowly. We passed a car that had just cleared off enough snow on his drivers side window to see his mirror (like his hand size only) and he didn't bother to clear the front window off either...he just used the wipers. So the fun begins: Snow versus B.C drivers!
We all know who wins....the SNOW!
When we got into Wal-mart, we were talking to a couple of Nathan's old managers and one of them couldn't believe that we were out in 'this weather!' We assured them that we LOVE the snow and it is nothing compared to what we are used to driving in in Buffalo and Ontario.
We miss the snow sooooooo much! :( if only it wouldn't rain and get warm like it is supposed to tomorrow :( Please Lord, let the snow stay for Christmas!!!!

Here is our snowy street!! We are supposed to be getting 15-20 cm tonight!!!!
I LOVE it!!!!

Nathan and Joshua in the snow!!
I love his little boots :)

Joshua and I in the snow!!
As you can tell from Joshua's face he is excited!!
He was saying his excited "oooooooooo" that he does with his low voice :)

This picture was taken yesterday, the first day that you could actually see the snow on the ground. Big smiles...he loves the snow!!

Sunday after the morning service, all the boy in the church ran outside to the snow and Nathan ran out too. He brought some snow in for Joshua to see. Joshua looked at it for a few seconds and then thought..."this is probably yummy...after all they said so on 'Charlie Brown's Christmas,' 'you have to catch the snow flakes on your tongue'!" Yes, he ate it:) it was cute!
On our way home from church Joshua had fallen a sleep in the car, but when we took him out he woke up. It was funny, the snow was falling on his face so he kept blinking. Then all of the sudden he said is "ooooooooo" (in his low voice) like he just noticed all the snow!
